Year 2020

Robots-Threatening-to-Take-overI believe the year 2020 is gonna be a breakthrough for technology. Over the years we all see a lot of SF movies that talked about the future. In Terminator they say year 1996 will be the year when Skynet becomes independent and self sustained. That year past long ago and we had no killer robots.
In a whole bunch of other movies we see different data, but they are or a little too soon, or too late, like 2100 and so on.
I remember i see and an old flick (filmed in the 90’s) when the robots walked the earth in 2020. Also they packed phones similar with our smartphones today. Big screen, video phone, with lasers. They look a lot like the Samsung Galaxy Beam for instance.
I just see a news now that announce that a team of scientists build a couple of robots able to TEACH another robots. And not so long ago, i thing 2 years back, a robot was smart enough to design a moving robot. No program added, it designed a simple 3 legged moving robot.
I also see they can teleport objects from point A to point B, and also teleport atoms from now to 0,00001 seconds before.
And as we see the expand of technology for our phones, in 10 years, i’m not gonna be surprised if i see a man teleporting from here and now to 20 years ago, Seattle…
And as we already have the invisibility cloth (at least for the army), i can’t wait to buy one 10 years from now, from supermarkets.

The movies isn’t a fake, the designer is Susumu Tachi, as shown in the right video… The invisibility raincoat was first made in 2003.

  • My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a variety of websites for about a year
and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard very good
things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

    • Its not hard to do it. You have an option in blogger to export your website. And it exports a xml with pictures, comments and posts. Then you use that xml in wordpress. Or even more easy way is to go in the wosdpress blog – tools – import – blogger.
Make sure you are logged into your blogger account.
The importer will add all your content from blogger to the new wordpress site, in your case, blogengine.net.
